Complete Volume I
Volume I of the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual (RS&CM, Volume I), contains WorkSafeBC’s current policies on compensation and rehabilitation for injured workers and their dependants whose claims are governed by British Columbia’s Workers Compensation Act (Act) that was in place before June 30, 2002.
The Act requires WorkSafeBC and the Workers’ Compensation Appeal Tribunal to apply some of these policies when making certain decisions on claims with a date of injury before June 30, 2002. Policy item #1.03 explains when claims with a date of injury before June 30, 2002, will be administered using the policies of the RS&CM, Volume II (under current legislative provisions).
