Dietitians
When people have a work-related injury or disease, we help them get the health care and rehabilitation services they need. This may include consultation with a dietitian.
Becoming a provider
There's no formal process or contract required for dietitians to work with us. You just need to be in good standing with the College of Dietitians of B.C., agree to bill according to our fee schedule and call us for approval before beginning treatment.
Your first step in working with us is to get a payee number, which you'll use in all communications with us. To get your payee number, please contact our Procurement Services team.
Getting approval
Prior to beginning treatment, you need to complete two steps to make sure you will be paid for your services:
Steps for treatment approval
-
1
Check that we have accepted the worker's claim.
You can check the claim status online.
-
2
Get our verbal approval each time for treatments.
Please note that checking online won't get you the necessary verbal approval for treatment. You'll need to call our Teleclaim team for this.
