Coroner's inquest
The multiple deaths and serious injuries to agricultural workers on a highway and at a mushroom composting operation exemplify the importance of health and safety obligations. Following a Coroner’s Inquest (May 2012) into the deaths of three workers and permanent injuries of two others, WorkSafeBC and the Farm and Ranch Health and Safety Association (now AgSafeBC) have commenced work on the jury’s recommendations.
