WorkSafeBC Home

Healthy and safe workplaces contribute to a safe and healthy province. Employers are responsible for the health and safety of their workers, and have an obligation to comply with WorkSafeBC regulations and the Workers Compensation Act of British Columbia.

As COVID-19 restrictions are lifted and more businesses resume operations in B.C., let’s all do our part to effectively manage the risk of COVID-19 transmission in the workplace. Businesses in B.C. need to follow WorkSafeBC’s industry protocols and requirements, and develop a safety plan that outlines the policies, guidelines, and procedures that are in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 transmission and keep workers healthy and safe.

Thank you to the employers and workers across B.C. who are doing their part
