Making it easier to access information, support, and services

WorkSafeBC is expanding our digital channels and modernizing services so that workers, employers, and providers feel more confident, supported, and empowered when interacting with us.

This ongoing journey of automation and modernization follows years of research, feedback, and investment to build services that are simpler, more efficient, more secure, and better connected.

We're listening to feedback

Workers, employers, and providers interact with WorkSafeBC every day to prevent workplace injury and support recovery and return to work.

Through research and feedback, you’ve told us that you want:

  • Self-service options with opportunities to speak with someone
  • Simpler and more secure access to information and services
  • More timely and useful updates, reminders, and notifications
  • A clearer view of progress and next steps
  • More consistent, inclusive, and connected services
  • More digital options to complete tasks quickly and easily

We’ve already started delivering these changes with more coming in the months ahead.

What's next?

This summer and fall, we’re introducing:

  • A redesigned employer dashboard with action items and recent activity
  • An AI-powered website search that helps people find information using everyday language
  • Faster access to online claim information for injured workers
  • Improved profile management, making it easier for injured workers to update personal and contact information online

As new enhancements are introduced, we'll share updates and information to help you understand what’s changing and how to get the most from our services.
