Consultation on policy workplans
Our Policy, Regulation and Research Department is responsible for developing proposals on policy priorities to be included in the Policy Workplans. These workplans cover areas with respect to compensation for injuries, death, and occupational disease; employer assessment; and occupational health and safety.
As the current workplans end in 2026, you are invited to share your ideas for policy projects to be considered in the development of 2027–2029 Policy Workplans until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, September 11, 2026.

WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors will consider feedback before making a decision on the workplans.
Please note that all comments become part of the Policy, Regulation and Research Department’s database and may be published, including the identity of organizations and those participating on behalf of organizations. The identity of those who have participated on their own behalf will be kept confidential according to the provisions of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
