Proposed policy amendments related to the Accounts Receivable System Implementation

WorkSafeBC is upgrading its accounts receivable system. Policy changes are needed to ensure the new accounts receivable system is developed in a way that is consistent with the Workers Compensation Act, and to remove prescriptive and outdated language from policy.

Our Policy, Regulation and Research Division is releasing a discussion paper, with options on proposed policy amendments relating to the Accounts Receivable System Implementation, for public consultation.

Proposed deletions of policy wording are identified with a strikethrough and additions are highlighted in bold.

The consultation period ended January 31, 2022. WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors will consider stakeholder feedback before making a decision on further policy changes.
