Step 3 of BC’s restart

Beginning with Step 3, employers will no longer be required to maintain a COVID-19 Safety Plan, and will instead transition to communicable disease prevention. Learn more.


Providing home care can present additional health and safety challenges, as most homes were never intended or designed to be workplaces. The three most common causes of work-related injuries are overexertion; slips, trips, and falls; and motor vehicle incidents. Home care workers may also be exposed to infectious diseases and violent behaviour.
