Certificates accepted in B.C.
The first aid certificates shown here are accepted in B.C. workplaces. These examples should help you determine if a worker has proper certification to be the designated first aid attendant. Key elements that must be included in the certificate shown below:
- Agency name
- Certificate level
- First aid attendant name
- Expiry date
- Unique certificate number
- Issued in B.C., or B.C. out of jurisdiction certificate
- Basic First Aid (OFA 1)
- Intermediate First Aid (OFA 2)
- Advanced First Aid (OFA 3)
- Paramedic in Industry
- Transportation Endorsement
