The first aid certificates shown here are accepted in B.C. workplaces. These examples should help you determine if a worker has proper certification to be the designated first aid attendant. Key elements that must be included in the certificate shown below:

• Agency name
• Certificate level
• First aid attendant name
• Expiry date
• Unique certificate number
• Issued in B.C., or B.C. out of jurisdiction certificate
