Complete Resolution

In March 2007, WorkSafeBC's Board of Directors approved amendments to Part 6 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation. These amendments became effective on July 26, 2007. Part 6, Substance Specific Requirements, relating to safety-engineered devices for hollow bore needles and other medical sharps. The amendments above were taken to public hearings in November 2006 and January 2007. Stakeholder feedback received during the public hearing process is available for review.
