Incident Investigation: Key Fob Triggers Explosion in Service Vehicle

This video recreates an incident where a service van exploded. The van contained an oxyacetylene welding system, including compressed acetylene and gasoline, and flammable gas leaked and built up in the van overnight. The gas was ignited by a spark in the electrical system triggered by a key fob, causing an explosion that destroyed the van.

The video illustrates why proper storage, safe work procedures, and adequate ventilation are all critical when transporting or storing flammable materials.
