Worker Health and Safety Representative Fundamentals

Workplaces that have more than 9 but fewer than 20 workers require a worker health and safety representative. The representative has the same duties and functions as a joint committee, to the extent practicable. This online course addresses the training requirements for worker health and safety representative acting in this capacity.

For information about training for joint committee members, see Training for joint committee members and worker health and safety representatives.

Note: Housekeeping changes to this course were made to reflect numbering changes in the Workers Compensation Act, which took effect on April 6, 2020. For more information, view amendments and revisions to the Act.
