Noise control and hearing conservation program: Small employer sample

Too much exposure to workplace noise can cause permanent and irreversible damage to workers’ hearing. As an employer, you are required to have a hearing conservation program if your workers are regularly exposed to noise levels of 85 decibels or higher.

This example shows what a noise control and hearing conservation program can look like for a small business. A large employer example is also available. In addition, a Word template is provided to help you create your own plan, along with a guide to using the template.
