As part of our commitment to improving occupational health and safety, WorkSafeBC funds eight injury reduction initiatives (IRIs). Through programs that respond to industry needs and priorities, these initiatives promote reducing occupational injury and disease and safely returning injured workers to work. The IRIs are administered by health and safety associations or other non-profit organizations, and most align with our high-risk strategies.
