We're increasing outreach to construction employers to confirm Notice of Project submission
From October through December 2020, our occupational health and safety officers will increase their outreach with employers to confirm that a Notice of Project (NOP) is submitted for residential construction projects over $100,000.
An NOP must be submitted on worksafebc.com and posted at the worksite at least 24 hours before work begins.
Submitting an NOP helps keep construction projects safe for workers and provides our prevention team with key information about the project, including the key people responsible for health and safety on the worksite, relevant contact information, and details about the scope of work.
