Register for direct deposit to ensure you continue to receive payments
WorkSafeBC has been designated an essential service during the COVID-19 pandemic and we will continue to provide the services you need. However, the COVID-19 situation may bring mail disruptions that are outside of our control.
If you’re an injured worker who is receiving monthly benefit cheques or short-term disability payments from WorkSafeBC, or payments from WorkSafeBC’s Vocational Rehabilitation Services, or you’re a family member of a deceased worker and you’re receiving survivor benefits, we urge you to sign up for direct deposit to ensure that your payments continue to reach you.
Through direct deposit, your payments are automatically transferred into your bank account, giving you peace of mind. And you don’t have to visit a bank to deposit a paper cheque, allowing you to stay safely at home. It’s convenient, secure, often faster, and it’s one small way to reduce your environmental footprint.
