Preparing for potential mail disruptions

Published on: September 13, 2018

Canada Post is currently in collective agreement negotiations with the Canadian Union of Postal Workers. WorkSafeBC encourages workers and providers to register for direct deposit and employers to take advantage of our online services to avoid any potential concerns if postal delivery is affected by these negotiations.

Receiving payment by direct deposit

Workers and providers can sign up for direct deposit to ensure they continue to receive their payments from us.

Workers should complete a Request for Direct Deposit form for workers or call our Claims Call Centre at 1.888.967.5377 for assistance.

Providers should complete the Request for Direct Deposit form for providers.

Reporting payroll or paying premiums online

Employers who need to report payroll and pay your premiums for the third quarter, which is required by October 20, should consider using our online services.

In addition to online services to report payroll and pay premiums, we offer many other account management services. For example, you can add a payment method, change contact information, add Personal Optional Protection. Learn more or call our Employer Service Centre at 1.888.922.2768.
