Preparing for rotating mail strikes

Published on: October 18, 2018

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers has issued a 72-hour strike notice to Canada Post, with the intent of starting rotating strikes on Monday, October 22, which will result in brief mail delivery delays in selected areas unless an agreement is reached.

WorkSafeBC will continue with our regular mailings for now, but will let you know if this changes. Workers and providers are encouraged to sign up for direct deposit to ensure that they continue to receive payment from us. Employers who need to report payroll and pay premiums should consider using our online services.
