Bill 41 employer info session: Duty to cooperate and duty to maintain employment (Nov. 16)
You’re invited to attend our employer info session on the upcoming duty to cooperate and duty to maintain employment obligations.
Introduced as part of the B.C. government’s Bill 41, starting on January 1, 2024, employers and workers will have a legal duty to cooperate in timely and safe return to work, and certain employers will be required to maintain employment with injured workers in specific circumstances.
This virtual session will review the legislation and the new obligations for employers and workers in B.C. You’ll also learn about the value of recovery and return to work, and how you can help support workers in the event of an injury. After the presentation, you’ll have an opportunity to ask questions.
