New slide show illustrates the importance of assessing dangerous trees properly

Manual tree falling is a high-risk activity that can result in serious injuries and deaths, especially when dangerous trees are involved. This slide show demonstrates what can go wrong when a dangerous tree is not properly assessed.

This audio slide show uses animation and photos taken from an actual incident site to depict the events that led to the worker’s death, and describes the underlying factors that contributed to the cause of the incident. It also emphasizes the importance of thoroughly assessing dangerous trees and their surroundings before deciding how to manage them.
