Amendments to Part 6 of the OHS Regulation, related to combustible dusts, will take effect January 4, 2027. This draft new guideline was developed to clarify the roles and responsibilities of a qualified person under Part 6 of the Regulation. It also recognizes that the qualifications required of a qualified person may vary depending on the task, circumstances, and hazards involved.
