At issue was a review of long-term average earnings policy in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II.

WorkSafeBC administers the claims of Federal Government employees covered by the Government Employees Compensation Act (“GECA workers”). Current policy provided that long-term average earnings were not calculated for GECA workers who were maintained on full salary by their employer while injured. For consideration was whether this policy direction should be revised.
