On February 20, 2025, WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors approved amendments to the Permanent Disability Evaluation Schedule (Appendix 3) of the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II. The amendments remove biceps tendon rupture (with no surgical correction) fixed disability ratings from the Schedule so the rating for a biceps tendon rupture does not depend on whether surgical repair was undertaken.

The amended policy applies to all decisions made on or after July 4, 2025.
