BOD Decision — 2023/01/25-04 — Amendments to Section III (E), and Section V (D) of the Permanent Disability Evaluation Schedule
On January 25, 2023, WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors (BOD) approved amendments to the Permanent Disability Evaluation Schedule (Appendix 3) of the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II. The amendments:
- Correct terminology regarding upper extremities
- Clarify evaluation methodology for loss of hand strength
These amendments to the Permanent Disability Evaluation Schedule apply to all decisions made on or after March 1, 2023.
