Measuring Occupational Noise

Employers must know the noise levels in their workplace if workers could be exposed to hazardous noise. This manual is for employers who want to conduct a noise survey on their own, as well as for employers who have decided they need to hire a professional noise surveyor but want to ensure the person they’re hiring is qualified to do the work. It is intended to be a resource for anyone who conducts occupational noise surveys and calculates noise exposure levels.
