Preventing Occupational Disease: Designing a System that Works 

This project will undertake a critical scan of existing research and policies to identify best practices for early detection of exposures that can lead to occupational disease. It will focus on four categories of occupational disease: noise-induced hearing loss, occupational cancers, occupational asthma, and occupational dermatitis.

The scan will be used to devise a set of recommendations for the design of a system for early detection of exposures and early diagnoses that are likely to work most effectively and efficiently in Canadian provinces and regions.
