A systematic approach to identifying resilience training needs of EMS personnel

This research project aims to develop and test a methodology for assessing the occupational stress needs and characteristics of emergency health services workers. The researchers intend to survey occupational groups within British Columbia Emergency Health Services (i.e. paramedics, dispatchers etc.) with regard to their stress exposure and resiliency skills. The methodology the researchers aim to develop is intended to help inform the customization of workplace resilience training.
