Complete Resolution

The Board of Directors of WorkSafeBC considered and approved amendments to Part 26, Forestry Operations, with consequential amendments to Part 1, Definitions, and Part 4, General Conditions in December 2007. A strikethrough version of the approved amendments with explanatory notes can be accessed to the right. These amendments came into effect May 1, 2008 with the exception of section 26.69(6). Section 26.69(6) required binder removal stations to be certified by a professional engineer. This section, came into effect January 1, 2009. The amendments referenced above were all taken to public hearings in June 2007. Stakeholder feedback received during the public hearing process is available for review.
