In March 2007, WorkSafeBC's Board of Directors approved that proposed amendments to Part 4, relating to prepayment for fuel at gas stations and other retail fuel outlets, be revised and released to a second public hearing. The Board of Directors requested that the proposed amendments be revised to apply province wide and be in effect 24 hours per day. As these revisions represent a material change to those originally proposed, a second public hearing is required. These revised proposed amendments were taken to public hearings in June 2007 along with the proposed 2007 regulatory amendments.
