At its May 2013 meeting, WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors approved the deletion of two policies from the Prevention Manual.

Policy R17.13-1, regarding seating capacity, is redundant, as part of the policy is already addressed by the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation ("OHSR") while other parts are not suited for policy.

The changes became effective June 28, 2013.
