BOD Decision -2010/12/08-02 – Work Study Program in Independent Secondary Schools
On December 8, 2010, the Board of Directors approved the expansion of the terms and conditions of coverage for public and independent school students engaged in work study/work experience programs. The changes in terms and conditions of coverage expanded the definition of work experience so that all students engaged in non-paid, school-arranged work experience programs are covered by WorkSafeBC, not just students participating in work experience in order to meet their Graduation Transitions requirements.
The Order-in-Council approving these two resolutions was effective July 21, 2011. This is the second of the two resolutions.2021-04-22 20:42:33
