BOD Decision - 2005/11/17-03 - Fishing Industry
At its November 17, 2005 meeting, the Board of Directors approved changes to the Fishing Industry Regulations (the Regulations) and to policy on the fishing industry. The changes serve to consolidate the various sources of policy on the fishing industry and to clarify how WorkSafeBC identifies firms that must pay assessment premiums in the fishing industry, and how assessment premiums are calculated. The changes come in effect April 1, 2006, when Reporter Decision No. 225 will be retired and the Assessment Manual will be updated to reflect the new Regulations. The changes will apply to all decisions made on or after that date.
