Potential concerns of bullying, violence & harassment in British Columbia and Alberta

This project aims to investigate how organizational climate and culture influence bullying and harassment, along with the impact on mental health and wellbeing on tradeswomen in British Columbia and Alberta.

This qualitative study includes interviews with 24 participants from the two provinces. Data will be collected about workplace climate and culture, and participants’ experiences with bullying and harassment, to identify organizational factors that could mitigate mental health effects of those experiences. This research will provide up-to-date knowledge and a deeper understanding for women employed in trades, with a focus on both mental health and gender.
