Amendments to Part 6 of the Occupational Health and Safety Regulation relating to combustible dusts will take effect on January 4, 2027.

The amendments provide a clearer definition of combustible dusts and strengthen requirements for identifying, assessing, and controlling the hazards of combustible dusts in the workplace.
