New safety bulletins outline key hazards and controls for telehandlers and rotating telehandlers

Published on: April 01, 2026

Telehandlers and rotating telehandlers are versatile machines that can put workers at risk of injury due to rollovers, load failure, or other incidents.

The risk of incidents decreases if employers are aware of the hazards and if operators are trained and competent with the specific model of telehandler and attachments used.

Our safety bulletins outline key hazards and controls for telehandlers and rotating telehandlers. They focus on stability and rollover risk, suspended loads and attachments, work planning, and keeping workers safely separated from moving equipment.
