On November 14, 2025, WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors revised policies in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II concerning mental disorder claims under section 135 of the Workers Compensation Act. The policy revisions change the definition of significant work-related stressor and provide guidance on the limits of the labour relations exclusion.

The revised policies apply to all decisions, including appellate decisions, made on or after March 2, 2026.
