On November 14, 2025, the Board of Directors revised policy on commutations in the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, Volume II. The primary change is to increase the monetary threshold for when periodic payments for permanent disability benefits can be automatically commuted to a lump sum payment from $200 to $350.

The revised policy applies to all decisions made on or after February 1, 2026.
