Registry of licensed asbestos abatement contractors now online

Published on: October 10, 2023

As part of our implementation of the mandatory training and licensing requirements for asbestos abatement work, we have published a registry of licensed asbestos abatement contractors to our website.

As of January 1, 2024, asbestos abatement contractors (employers) must be licensed to operate in British Columbia. The Asbestos Abatement Licence (AAL) Registry allows businesses, contractors, and homeowners to identify who is, or was, licensed to perform asbestos abatement work in B.C.

You can view the AAL Registry on our Find licensed contractors page.
