Submitting and managing reviews during the COVID-19 outbreak
The Review Division is continuing to receive requests for review and is completing as many decisions as possible during the COVID-19 outbreak.
We will continue to monitor the situation and take measures to ensure we follow the guidance from public health agencies. These measures include limiting the number of staff in our office and closing our offices to the public.
Effective immediately, the Review Division will not be conducting in-person hearings. We will be contacting anyone with oral hearings scheduled to discuss next steps.
Requesting and managing a review
If you disagree with a decision made by WorkSafeBC on a claim, assessment, or health and safety enforcement matter, you can request a review of the decision from the Review Division.
If you would like to make a request for review, please submit it online. To do this, you will need to open an online services account with us. Once you have an account, you can complete your request for review quickly and let us know if you have a representative.
You can also manage your review online, including making submissions, requesting extensions of time on submissions, and receiving online notifications of review correspondence, including completed Review Division decisions.

We will do our best to communicate with you about your review, but we anticipate some delays as we adjust our operations.
Review time limits
We recognize that during this unprecedented time, there may be challenges submitting requests for review and providing submissions on reviews within the statutory time limits.
Whenever possible, we are continuing to conduct and complete reviews within the statutory timelines. However, we recognize the challenges in the current environment and will be flexible and grant extensions of time on reviews where necessary.
