On November 24, 2021, WorkSafeBC’s Board of Directors approved amendments to the effective date of previously approved policy amendments to Item AP5-243-1 “Assessment Payments” in the Assessment Manual. These policy changes were originally approved by the Board of Directors in May 2019, and were scheduled to come into effect on January 1, 2022 (see BOD Decision 2019/05/29-02).

The Board of Directors has revised the effective date of the previously approved amendments so that the revised policy is now scheduled to come into effect on January 1, 2025. Housekeeping amendments to align the previously approved amendments with the Workers Compensation Act were also approved.
