On February 24, 2004, the Board of Directors approved the fifth phase of the retirement process for Volumes 1 - 6 (Decisions 1 - 423) of the Workers' Compensation Reporter. The purpose of this project is to eliminate policy that has become outdated, repetitive and/or contradictory to policy contained in the manuals.

In order to remedy an ambiguity between Decision No. 50 and policy item #18.31, Worker on Call, of Volume II of the Rehabilitation Services & Claims Manual, the policy item was revised to clarify that compensation will be provided to workers from leaving home until their return home.

The effective date for these changes is February 24, 2004.
