Interventions to Reduce Work Absence: A stakeholder-centred, best-evidence synthesis of systematic reviews

This project was designed to build on a previously funded project that identified elements that can contribute to prolonged disability duration – the interval of time from an injury or illness until a person can return to work. The intent of this project was to apply the findings of the first project, continuing an experiment in pilot-testing and refining a collaborative platform called the Health and Work Productivity Web-Portal. It was designed to support partnerships between academic researchers and community participants and identify and implement credible scientific knowledge and tools to support best practices in disability prevention and management, and enhance workplace productivity.
