Reporting payroll, making payments, and managing your account

For more information, read payroll reporting FAQs to see how you can avoid common payroll reporting errors.

Please choose from the following two options:

1. Fast File and Pay

If you have a single classification, you can use this service to report your payroll and pay your premiums online. It’s fast, easy to use, and it’s designed for employers who want to complete transactions without having to sign up for our full range of online services.

To report your payroll you will need:

  • Your account number and payroll report ID. You will find these on either your quarterly or annual payroll report.

To make a payment you will need:

  • Your account number and credit card. This application accepts Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for online payments of $10,000 or less. Credit card payments in excess of $10,000 may only be made in person at the WorkSafeBC head office in Richmond.

To do both, be sure to have your account number, payroll report ID, and credit card on hand.

2. Online Reporting and Remitting this service is secured and requires a userid and password

This service is designed for employers who want to access a full range of account management services. Use this service to:

  • Design a payment plan that meets your needs:
    • Pay your premiums by installments and receive clearance in advance until the next quarter, or prepay your premium and receive clearance for the entire year
    • Pay at the end of each quarter or the end of the year
  • Cancel your coverage
  • View your transactions and account balance
  • Make changes to your firm's contact details
  • Add Personal Optional Protection to your account

Payment options include pre-authorized chequing, electronic banking, and online credit card payments of $10,000 or less. Credit card payments in excess of $10,000 may only be made in person at the WorkSafeBC head office in Richmond.

Access to this service requires signing up for secured online services.

  Due to scheduled maintenance this service may not be available on Fridays from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. (PST). We apologize for any inconvenience.
