Toxic process gas safety in water and wastewater treatment facilities: Guide to risk identification and controls for employers

Use this self-assessment tool to better understand the risk that toxic process gases (TPGs) can present to the workplace. It will help you determine whether your facility has effective controls in place to protect workers from TPGs.

This tool, which is designed as a fillable template, can be used by employers using TPGs — e.g., chlorine gas, anhydrous ammonia, or sulfur dioxide — for water treatment, water distribution, and wastewater treatment in B.C.
