2024 New or Revised ACGIH Threshold Limit Values and B.C. Exposure Limits
Prevention Policy Item R5.48-1 has been amended to maintain the current B.C. exposure limits for substances listed on the 2024 new or revised Threshold Limit Values from the American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists.

Update: Masks in hospitals and health care settings
Effective April 8, 2024, medical masks are no longer required in health care settings. Visitors are still encouraged to wear masks in health care settings and to practice respiratory etiquette. Health care workers must continue to wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including masks or respirators, in accordance with workplace risk assessments.
