WorkSafeBC update: Asbestos abatement certification to safeguard against exposure
The provincial government has announced amendments to the Workers Compensation Act. These changes require asbestos abatement contractors to be licensed and workers who do asbestos abatement work to complete mandatory safety training and obtain certificates.
