Update Package 2002-1 – Assessment Manual – December, 2002

The update packages include all individual replacement pages required to keep your printed Assessment Manual up to date.

The Assessment Manual is written in the new manual format approved by the Panel several years ago. It represents an editorial consolidation of material from the existing Assessment Policy Manual and relevant and still current material from 29 assessment decisions in volumes 1 - 6 of the Workers’ Compensation Reporter.

The material in the new Manual has been organized according to the provisions of the Workers Compensation Act. This has necessitated the adoption of a different numerical reference system from the existing Assessment Policy Manual. Out-of-date procedures have been removed, and some minor “substantive” changes have been made to make policy consistent with current practice or legal requirements.
