Prevent the spread of communicable disease: Occupancy limit

To prevent the spread of communicable disease—such as COVID-19—on a day-to-day basis, when the risk of spread is low, you should always follow routine practices such as handwashing, workplace cleaning, and staying home when you don't feel well. In situations where there is an elevated risk, a public health officer may issue information and guidance for you to follow to keep your workplace safe.

This resource can help you meet your health and safety responsibilities by clearly stating how many people are allowed in your workspace or business location at any one time.
