To determine whether there is any evidence to indicate that Fire Chiefs or Fire Captains are exposed to hazardous noise levels while on the job, and whether there is any evidence to indicate that Fire Chiefs or Fire Captains suffer from a higher level of noise-induced hearing loss compared to the general population.
